With the Discovery series acoustic guitars, Tanglewood focused on providing the best quality and playability whilst maintaining aesthetically rewarding features without compromising in sound. These feature 4 band backlit EQ systems, 2mm fingerboard dots, soft touch black machine heads and rosettes sound hole. All features, specifications and fantastic playability you would expect to find in a more expensive model guitar but available for the entry level musician.
 
The Tanglewood Discovery Series DBT SFC PW has been built some high quality and aesthetically pleasing choice of woods.

The whole body has a natural open pore satin finish with a spruce top and stunning pacific walnut back and sides. These both look and sound great, offering a clear and broad sound.

The Super Folk shape incorporates a single cutaway allowing you easy access to the higher frets, the satin finish on the neck also allows for smooth playability.
 
For larger performances or just a more direct and controlable signal, this Tanglewood comes with a built in Tanglewood TW-EX4 pickup and preamp system with a 4-band EQ which you can control bass, mid, treble and presence using the slide controls. It also comes with a volume control and a very handy digital chromatic tuner.
