What are we looking for in a teacher?
🛡️ Enhanced DBS Required
All teachers must hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check, we can help teachers apply for this. Safeguarding and student wellbeing are non-negotiable at Fusion Music.
❤️ Passion for Teaching
We’re looking for teachers who genuinely love teaching, not just playing. Inspiring progress, building confidence, and supporting students is at the heart of what we do.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
A music degree or equivalent professional experience is essential. We value strong musicianship, proven knowledge, and the ability to apply it in real teaching situations.
🤝 A People-Focused Mindset
This is a people-facing role. You must enjoy working with others and building positive relationships. You don’t need to be introverted or extroverted just authentic and caring.
⏰ Reliability Is Essential
Consistency and punctuality are critical. Lessons run on trust, lateness or unreliability is not acceptable. Our students and families depend on us every week.

Jonny Hayes 👑
Jonny is an entrepreneur and trained drummer with a background in music education and management. After taking ownership of NLMC he grew it into one of North London’s leading music centre's. His passion for accessible, inspiring music education drives Fusion Music.
Assistant Manager & Guitar Technician
Andy Con 🛠️
Andy has a contemporary music background, studying at higher level for six years. Passionate about electric guitar, he trained with North London luthiers L.A. Guitars and began hands-on work in setup, wiring, and woodworking in 2020, refining his expertise in every detail of the instrument.
Assistant Manager & Graphic Designer
Ash Bhatt 🎨
Ash is a marketing graduate with experience in graphic design, music production, and sound engineering. Since training with Fusion Music in 2022, he has developed strong repair and servicing expertise alongside performing as a DJ, releasing his debut solo project in 2025.
Brass & Woodwind Technician
Ben Adolwa 🎷
Ben is a musician, educator, and specialist repair technician with 30+ years experience. A professional member of NAMIR trained in Switzerland and London, specialising in brass and woodwind repairs. Ben has performed internationally at renowned venues like Ronnie Scott’s and the Jazz Café.
